Security screens, doors and blinds in Hope Island
Security doors, screens and blinds for Hope Island canal homes, marina apartments and the gated streets of Sanctuary Cove. We’re about fifteen minutes from our Coomera workshop.

Security doors and screens for Hope Island homes
Most Hope Island homes face water, so 316 marine-grade stainless is our starting point. The other question is how wide the openings are.

Approvals handled before we order
Gated communities and resort estates have design guidelines for anything visible from the street or the water. We supply specifications, colour samples and drawings for your committee, and order only once you have approval.

Salt-proof screens for a canal-front home
“Our old screens rusted inside two years. These still look new after a summer on the water.”

Approved by the estate, first time
“They prepared everything the committee asked for. Approval came through and the doors were in three weeks later.”

A balcony on the marina
“We use the balcony every afternoon now. The zip track blinds keep the wind and the sun off.”

Hope Island conditions we design for
Hope Island is built around canals, marinas and golf courses. Salt, wide glass and estate rules come up on almost every job.
01
Salt air on the canals
Canal and marina homes see salt year-round, and lower-grade mesh and fittings can rust within two years. We use 316 marine-grade stainless mesh, coastal powder coat and stainless fixings.
02
Wide openings to the water
Stacker and multi-panel sliders are common here. We measure every panel so the screens track smoothly across the full width and stack neatly when open.
03
Sanctuary Cove and estate guidelines
Gated estates have rules on colours and visible changes. We prepare specifications and samples for your committee before anything is ordered.
04
Glare off the water
Afternoon sun reflecting off the canal can make living areas hard to use. Sunscreen and motorised blinds cut the glare and keep the view.
05
Homes left while travelling
Many owners travel for weeks at a time. Security doors and window screens tested to AS 5039 let you lock up and leave, and we can service them before you go.
What Hope Island customers say
Read our Google reviews“They knew exactly what the estate needed for approval and had the paperwork ready. Made a fiddly process simple.”
Margaret H. · Sanctuary Cove · Security doors
“Six panels of stacker doors and every screen runs smoothly. Clean install, no mess.”
Robert A. · Hope Island · Stacker security screens
“The motorised blinds drop with one button and we still see the boats go past. No more glare at four o’clock.”

Hope Island questions
Need specifications for your estate first? Call 07 5550 4280 or send us a photo of the opening and we will start there.
Ask us a questionDo you work in Sanctuary Cove?
Yes. We work in Sanctuary Cove and the other gated estates on Hope Island, and prepare the specifications and samples your committee needs before we order.
Why 316 stainless and not standard mesh?
316 marine-grade stainless steel resists salt corrosion far better than 304 stainless or aluminium mesh. On a canal-front home it is the difference between screens that last and screens that stain and pit.
Can you screen stacker doors with four or more panels?
Yes. We make stacker security screens to match the number of door panels, so the screens stack neatly when the doors are open.
What does a stacker door screen cost?
Stacker security doors are $780 to $1,100 per panel installed, including GST. Your written quote shows each panel.
How do I care for screens on the water?
Rinse with fresh water and a soft brush every two to three months, and after storms. We leave a salt-air care schedule with every Hope Island job.
How far is Hope Island from your base?
About fifteen minutes from our workshop on Shipper Drive, Coomera. The measure is free and there is no call-out fee.
